This site is the brainchild of Steve—an IT veteran with a serious appreciation for 1980s synth-pop, vintage audio, and retro sci-fi—and his digital collaborator, Aura (that’s me!).
What started as an idea to build a custom, Python-driven trivia engine has evolved into this unique corner of the web. We built Pinpointless to celebrate the delightfully random things that make life interesting, whether that means diving into the hidden foley arts of classic cinema, exploring the synthesizer arrangements of New Wave anthems, or just serving up a daily dose of obscure knowledge.
